Reverend Preston Smith came to know Jesus and the Lord's sanctifying grace as a young teenager. He answered the call to preach at this young age. Soon he met and later married Charlene Smith where they were attending college at Southern Nazarene University. Brother Preston enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served his country for four years and subsequently returned to college graduating with a BA in Religion and History. He was soon ordained as an elder in the Church of The Nazarene.

Reverend Smith has faithfully served in the full-time pastorate for 39 years, across several states. He and Charlene have four children, fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

He recently retired as the Senior Pastor of Montrose Church of the Nazarene in Montrose, Iowa, where he and Charlene currently attend. Brother Preston loves to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family.

His greatest desire continues to be that of leading people to the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. He continues to preach and speak at various, venues and engagements.
